How to Make Polaroids

How to Make Polaroids

Polaroids are so cute! But, to make them you have to have a certain camera and more and more stuff. So why not just make them. This DIY is super easy and makes any picture look just like a polaroid!

The first thing you want to do is search "polaroid frames". Then you want to find cute polaroid frames that have a transparent background. You can use plain white frames or colored ones. For most of mine (not the ones in the picture above) I used patterned and colored frames.

Next, go into Powerpoint. Insert the polaroid frames and the pictures you want to make into polaroids. Now, you want to put the picture under the polaroid then crop the picture so it doesn't show outside of the frame. Then save the frame and image as a picture or copy them together.

Open a blank Word document. Paste or insert the picture and frame. You can make them any size you want. Most of mine are about the same size, but I have a few bigger and smaller polaroids. Put a bunch of the 'polaroids' on the page then print them.

Now, cut out the pictures right around the frame. Then take packing tape and put over the polaroid. Trip the tape so it lines up with the frame.

And there you go!! You have your own polaroids! Make sure to share your polaroids on Instagram and tag me (@everydaylifeblog) and using the hashtag #everydaylifetheblog and #jaymiemccauley, so I can see how your polaroids turned out!!
