What it is Like to Model Jewelry

What it is Like to Model Jewelry

I model jewelry for my sister's business, Emi & T Boutique. It is a little harder to get your picture taken when your sister is taking the picture, just because she is your sister. You have to be really patient in order to get the picture to be taken and look good. The biggest thing is to just try and be natural. When you stand stiff or slouch too much it makes the picture look funny. Most of these pictures don't have my face in them and they focus on the jewelry, but some do. You also have to be okay with wearing whatever matches the necklace, or another jewelry piece. And sometimes that involves standing on the front porch with mismatched clothes on. Or a dress on over pants, just to get the picture done. But, usually, nobody walks by so it is okay. Other times you are standing outside without a jacket in freezing cold weather. But, it works out in the end,  even if you don't want to get your picture taken at all because you are busy. Plus, sometimes you get free jewelry for doing it. And, no matter what it takes to get the picture taken they always look good in the end. Which usually means some editing before the picture gets posted.
