Cakey Cookies
Ingredients:

- 3 cups bread flour (or normal flour)
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 sticks softened unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Directions:
- In a small mixing bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, and salt
- In a separate larger bowl, stir together butter, light brown sugar, and vanilla. Mix until creamy.
- Add the eggs to the sugar mixture one at a time. Mix well after each egg.
- Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture a little at a time, stirring after each addition. Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Shape dough into balls (golf ball sized balls) and place on a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper. Flatten each dough ball with your hand. Bake cookies in a 375-degree oven for 8-10 minutes. Let cool.

- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup shortening
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Directions:
- In a mixing bowl, stir together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a separate larger bowl, combine the shortening, sugars, and vanilla. Mix until creamy.
- add the eggs to the sugar mixture one at a time. Make sure to mix well after each egg.
- Add the flour mixture to the sugar mixture a little at a time, stirring after each addition. Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Shape the dough into a ball (about the size of a golf ball) and place on a cookie sheet covered in parchment paper. Bake cookies in a 350-degree oven for 10-12 minutes. Let cool.

- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cupminni choclat chips
Direnctions:
- In a mixing bowl, stir together the all- pupose flour, bakind soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a separate larger bowl, stir together the granulated sugar, light brown sugar, and the melted butter. Let sit for five minutes.
- Add the eggs to the sugar mixture one at a time, stirring after each addition. Stir in the mini chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough on a cokkie sheet covered with parchment paper. Bake the cookies in a 375-degree oven for 10-12 minutes. Let cool.
