Cakey Cookies

Ingredients:
Chewy Cookies

  • 3 cups bread flour (or normal flour)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 sticks softened unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar   
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract        
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Directions:

  • In a small mixing bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, and salt
  • In a separate larger bowl, stir together butter, light brown sugar, and vanilla. Mix until creamy. 
  • Add the eggs to the sugar mixture one at a time. Mix well after each egg. 
  • Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture a little at a time, stirring after each addition. Stir in the chocolate chips. 
  • Shape dough into balls (golf ball sized balls) and place on a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper. Flatten each dough ball with your hand. Bake cookies in a 375-degree oven for 8-10 minutes. Let cool.  

Chewy Cookies 

Ingredients:
Chewy Cookie Dough Balls

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Directions:

  • In a mixing bowl, stir together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a separate larger bowl, combine the shortening, sugars, and vanilla. Mix until creamy. 
  • add the eggs to the sugar mixture one at a time. Make sure to mix well after each egg. 
  • Add the flour mixture to the sugar mixture a little at a time, stirring after each addition. Stir in the chocolate chips. 
  •  Shape the dough into a ball (about the size of a golf ball) and place on a cookie sheet covered in parchment paper. Bake cookies in a 350-degree oven for 10-12 minutes. Let cool. 

Crunchy Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
    Chewy Cookies Cooking
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar 
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cupminni choclat chips

Direnctions:

  • In a mixing bowl, stir together the all- pupose flour, bakind soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a separate larger bowl, stir together the granulated sugar, light brown sugar, and the melted butter. Let sit for five minutes. 
  • Add the eggs to the sugar mixture one at a time, stirring after each addition. Stir in the mini chocolate chips. 
  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough on a cokkie sheet covered with parchment paper.  Bake the cookies in a 375-degree oven for 10-12 minutes. Let cool.
